Arrival Story: We have had Marley for about 2 months now. My fiance found him while working in another town doing construction. He jumped into our truck and made himself at home and went to sleep. My fiance found the owners and they asked if we wanted to keep him. They had several other dogs and couldn't afford them anymore. They were planning on taking most of them to the pound to be put to sleep. All the dogs were healthy dogs so we decided to keep Marley and Lucas found the other dogs homes in that town.
We also found out from the previous owner that her husband would hit Marley so he has a hard time trusting men, he does well with my fiance but hes definately becoming more and more of a momma's boy everyday.

Bio: Marley is a very happy dog with tons of energy and loves people. He has done very well at adjusting to our home. At first it was difficult because he did not want to be left alone, but now he understands that we will be back. He loves playing with toys, talking walks, running, and going for drives. He really enjoys dog clothes, if you take off his sweater he will bring you another one to put on him. He gets along great with Jazmine but hes learning that the cats are not toys. He also snores louder then Ive ever heard a dog snore before.
He does have some health issues, it seems as though his back leg was broken at some point, he runs with a limp. He also has some breathing issues when he gets over anxious. He will cough and cough, doesnt usually last very long but Ive learned if you lift him up onto his back feet and rub his chest he calms down and gets more oxygen in. He is a great addition to our family.
