Arrival Story:
Footsie was part of the second litter born to Poco Verde Flatow and Cheta Avalina Carmelita de Valverde, our two shelties. He was the third puppy born in a litter of 7, at around 2 am on a school night. He was bought by a family who less than loving. Luckily, they brought him back home to us, and he has been with Mama ever since.
Bio:
I am a talking dog. My favorite words and phrases are: visit, friends, dinner, hungry, chill, inside voice, sketchy, boost, hurry up, go, toy, and P-A-R-K, which I totally know spells park, you silly humans. I can also talk back! I bark "yeah" and "Mama".
I love Elton John [Tiny Dancer is my favorite song!] and the O Brother soundtrack, and I don't like the Cranberries or Rage Against the Machine at all!

Last night Mama and Isaac told me they were going to go run errands and get dinner. When they opened the front door, I ran out and waited by the car. I just love errands! I sit up front and watch the world. They give me treats at the bank and sometimes I get french fries at the drive-thru.
And then Mama said I wasn't going to get to go, because they had to go to the store and it would take awhile. And then she said to come back into the house, we will be right back.
I just gave her my very best "silly person" LOOK.
Because, I mean...how can you be "gone awhile' but still 'be right back'?! Sheesh.

Yesterday was so much fun! Mama got a new digital camera so we spent all morning at our favorite park, taking pictures and playing stick. I think I was Gisele Bundchen in a former life, I posed for all sorts of pictures and I didn't even move until Mom was done.
And then! Mama's friend Milly came to visit and she fed me lots of treats. I barked at her like a big jerk when she first came over, but eventually I warmed up to her and let her pet me. I'm shy.
AND THEN! We went over to my "grandma and grandpa's" house and had hamburgers for dinner. I got to play with my two very best friends, Jock and Guy. It was Jock's 5th birthday last week so we had more treats to celebrate!

Mama worked until 10:30 last night! I hope we go to the park this weekend!
My friend Kevin came over last night. He belongs to my brother Simon. I had so many brothers! Simon lives at Kevin's house, and Gordo and Willie live with Aunt Mary Anne. We used to all get together and visit in the summertime.
I hope Simon comes to visit me sometime soon! We can take pictures together!
