Arrival Story:
I saw a picture of a cute Shiba pup on a shelter's website. I had been looking into Shibas for a while and hadn't found a good breeder in my at-the-time area so I paid him a visit and came home with him. Conker was part of a puppy mill bust.

Bio:
Conker is a very bad example of the Shiba Inu breed. He loves to cuddle, doesn't mind people (whom he knows) up in his face and is a generally all-around easy to train and handle dog. Though his recall isn't 100%, he will stop playing with another dog and come over when I call him. (Shibas are known for their terrible recall.) Conker gets along great with about every dog he's met. He is still 100% Shiba despite this. Snarky when he wants something, doesn't back down in a fight, commands are optional if he's interested in something else and he's all teeth and noise during play. I was prepared for the worst and got the opposite when I adopted him.
