Arrival Story:
We got Banshee as an 8 week puppy & she is truly my furbaby. I got her at a time when I had to accept that I would never have children & she truly filled my heart. She was born with a heart murmur & bad vision which we didn't know about until 3 weeks after we got her (our vet was unavailable) He suggested we bring her back but I loved her from the moment I saw her & believe you don't treat your pet like merchandise. When she was 10 we discovered only 1 heart valve functioned properly, that she was going blind & had hyper adrenal. Oct 5 2009 we almost lost her to acute cardiac failure but our Vet Dr Tony Henderson the miracle worker brought her from death's doorway & back into our arms. She was on 7 different meds but was very spunky, walked every day & was quite happy. We lost her on Oct 19 2010. I am thankful that she was only sick & not herself for 3 days. My heart is forever broken losing her. She was my constant companion and I am lost without her.

Bio:
Banshee loved her babies (stuffed toys) and is the only dog I have ever had that never chewed them up. She always had one with her and would lick them gently & fall asleep with one in her mouth most of the time. She was an extremely active dog who loved going on hikes, playing with her Auntie Tangi (the Brittany), eating snow, going camping & "guarding her palace". She never figured out she was a little dog & always wanted to boss around the big dogs who surprisingly let her be the boss!
