Snuggling up next to her mommy.

When big dog's think they're tougher than her. She's 3 pounds of sheer terror! (Btw, this is a joke, she's a sweet heart)

Best Tricks:
Although Gracie can perform many tricks on command, my favorite task that she does is "kiss me" because it shows how much she loves me and makes me feel better when im feeling down. She is learning to alert to my anxiety, which I know will be amazing!

Arrival Story:
I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Panic Disorder and i BEGGED my parents for my own dog since i was 7 years old. What i knew, and my parents never understood is that one thing that could help me more than anything is an unconditional friend. I finally got Gracie when i had just turned 13 and my behavior, especially at home when i was with Gracie became much better because she calmed me down and instead of having anxiety attacks for hours like i used to, they are now shorter because stroking and talking to her really calms me down and pushes me out of an extremely anxious state. She also calms my anxiety in general and helps me do daily tasks that I would not normally be able to do because of my anxiety issues. Gracie is my Emotional Support Animal, but i now am hoping to train her to do some actual tasks that help me with my OCD, GAD, and Panic Disorder. Once she is actually task trained, she will not only be even more helpful than before, but she will also qualify as a service dog, which will help me so much in places outside my home that make me anxious. Gracie has helped me make new friends in high school, and feel more comfortable just living in my own home. Since I got her, i have come out of my shell and been so much less afraid of everything, and so much more able to just live! I can't wait to have to her trained because I know that I will not be capable of living on my own without her, and I'm sure that she will be trained by college. Gracie changed my life.
