   Leave a bone for Frodo

Frodo Baggins, Frodoman, Grover, Weiner, Stinkums, Little Man

Quick Bio:

Cuddles, a little pillow and blanket to curl up on, getting to sit up on someone's lap while the other dogs are on the ground, making himself stinky

The ice cream man, loud music, car rides, being chased by Frieda

Favorite Food:
chicken cut into little bits, peanut butter, napkins

Favorite Walk:
Upstairs, to sleep in a bed

Best Tricks:
Frodo is an excellent sitter and he's got a mean "down"

Arrival Story:
Frodo came to us one Christmas via an airplane. He had to ride all by himself, so this might explain why he hates traveling so much.

Frodo is the tiniest dog in the house, even though Gretyl is also a miniature dachshund. He is a wire-hair doxie and he loves to get his little beard wet in the water dish. Though he doesn't care for swimming, Frodo is probably the best swimmer in the house. He's also been the star of his own little movie, "Frodo Takes A Bath." Like his literary counterpart, Frodo likes to go on lots of adventures, though strictly in the house and backyard. He has gotten himself stuck in the bathtub drain only once, and managed to pull himself out after a few moments of panic. Frodo misses Grizelda, who was also a wire-hair dachshund and made sure to mother him when Gretyl was too tough on him. He is getting used to having Frieda in the house, but makes sure to speak up for himself if she ever gets one of here big paws in his way. You can see Frodo's movie at iMovieTheater6.html

I'm Going Camping!

Still at Camp...

So Mommy got snowed in and couldn't come to get us! But I guess that's true for a lot of other dogs here, so we're all stuck together. Here are some of the things we do at camp: walk, sniff, chew on our toys, run, try to go inside because it's cooold, eat. I like when we go on hikes. I run ahead of Gretyl and I don't have to worry about the ice cream man driving by because we're hiking in the woods. Ice cream men aren't allowed up there. At least, I haven't seen any.

Gretyl doesn't normally share her toys with me, but she gets so distracted by the other dogs that sometimes I get in a quick chew. Still, I would rather get a big ol' bite of a papertowel. They also keep taking our pictures to show to Mommy. There's one with me and a BIG dog... look how brave I am! We also are eating a different dog food. I have learned one thing from camp... snow is cold.

I miss my mommy!

Gretyl and I took a looooooooong car ride to visit the mommy yesterday. Then today we took another trip in the car. I HATE riding in the car. Gretyl bounced around, but I stayed safe on the floor. When the car stopped, we got out and there was a big building with lots of other dogs in it. Mommy said we were going to camp.

We all went outside and there was a BIG dog and a bouncy dog. Gretyl ran around a lot and played with the bouncy dog. I tried to hide under the mommy. They walked me out on the grass, but I only wanted to go back inside. Gretyl thinks I'm a chicken.

The two of us are going to sleep in the same place, with our sleeping bags and some toys from the mommy. They're going to take us on walks and we get to go out with play groups. I guess that could be fun. But mostly... I miss my mommy!

Gretyl says they're going to make me take a bath too! Bleah!
