Arrival Story:
Redford and his sister Sierra were two of the lucky pups recently hand-picked by Rogers’ Rescues volunteers visiting shelters in Kentucky. It was hard to believe that this gorgeous pair was living in a rural shelter and in danger of never finding a home.

Bio:
Redford is an absolute sweetheart. He’s playful with other dogs and loves to snuggle with his people. Pick him up and he’ll put his head on your shoulder. But true to his Sheltie breed, he needs a little time to evaluate you and learn to trust. Once he sizes you up as one of the good guys, he’s your best little buddy. Redford loves to play with other dogs. His 2 BFFs (Zoe and Bonnie) were recently adopted so he’s definitely looking for a new pal to romp and play. (Redford’s sister Sierra is also available for adoption!) In the meantime, he’s making due with stuffed toys, bones, and all the socks and unmentionables he can pull from the laundry basket! He is quite a little character. Redford is doing well on housebreaking.He walks well on a leash if you can patiently coach him along when he hesitates. He has a fenced yard at his foster home and enjoys running around exploring and playing. Red is crated when we go out but sleeps on our bed at night. We think Redford is too young to be left alone all day, every day so a home where he will have human companionship most of the time (or doggie daycare) is preferred. Redford is being fostered in Langhorne, PA.
