I was at the dog park today and a woman passed a treat to her dog right in front of my dog’s nose... I was embarrassed when my dog chased her dog away due to being upset that her dog got a treat and she did not... My point is that giving treats to your dog is fine if that is what you choose to do however please be aware of the other dogs around you. Treats when given at the wrong time can cause tension and worse case scenario aggression... Watch that food! In my opinion it is best to leave the treats at home to avoid a squabble (hopefully that is all you are avoiding)

This week is the best week ever!!! Terrylynn never told me that my best friend Miller was comming to stay with us! Wow 6 days of unlimited play with my best friend! Could a dog ask for more? I mean there is still nap time of course... and at night we get to curl up in our beds for a good nights sleep but in the day it's wrestling time... oh and Terrylynn just told me that I get two more friends to play with next week. I LOVE MY LIFE!!! At the park yesterday I was on my best behaviour so afterwards I got a delicious treat...I am still learning. I am trying to remember that not every ball belongs to me. Terrylynn is not happy when I take the other dogs balls. But they are just so much fun! I am trying really hard to remember that the balls in my yard are mine but the ones at the park are not. If you want to come and play with me and all my friends then you can come and join my pack. It is called I know I am not the leader... I am learning - really I am. Terrylynn is the leader and we listen to her... She is teaching me how to go and get the dogs that wander in the park.
That is my job! I was not born an Australian Shepard for nothing. I am keying into my natural instincts and this whole hearding stuff is the best!!!
