Bio:
Arni is a short little guy at under 11" and around 12 lbs. He is a Type B Rat Terrier (a.k.a. a Teddy Roosevelt Terrier) who is about 3 years old. He is house trained and in the process of getting well crate trained. Arni loves the ladies. Every time he goes for a walk, women flock to him because he's so cute. He's very comfortable with female dogs, especially those around his size. He's fine with submissive males, but has a harder time getting along with other males. Arni is very affectionate and likes to nestle into a lap or the crook of an arm. He curls around his person, burrows his chin in a soft place and gives a contented sigh when his position is just right. Arni is playful and prefers to romp with humans rather than focus on toys. He also loves a good bone for chewing. Arni is a perfect gentleman when traveling in the car and he loves to go and do. He's a delightful house companion and sleeps well in his person's bed or in his crate. Arni does fairly well living with a cat, but can't help his little terrier self from chasing when the cat runs. Arni is cute, cuddly, rascally in the gentlest way, and very lovable. Arni has some hard times in his history, so he does have some quirks, as well. He doesn't like surprises, so it would be best if he didn't live with small children. He has not bitten anyone in or outside his foster home, but he does have a history of biting out of fear. Arni appreciates a gentle voice and gentle hands and does not want to be pushed to meet strangers. Once the person is no longer a stranger, Arni is a good buddy.
