 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 15th 1998
Likes: FOOD!!!, being loved, having a warm bed to sleep in instead of a cold dark cage.

Pet-Peeves: when mollie bugs her, having her front legs touched (i guess thats what happens when your cephalic veins get blown by students on a weekly basis)

Favorite Toy: filled bones, kongs (when theyre filled with food), old socks, rope toys and her very tiny "babies", but only when she is feeling really crazy...

Favorite Food: her natures variety raw diet, baby carrots, popcorn, this girl lives for treats!

Favorite Walk: anywhere... dog park, dog daycare, the chic petique....shes just happy to be out of the laboratory

Best Tricks: so far...minnie can sit and thats enough for me!

Arrival Story: minnie was a laboratory animal at my school for 4 years (for the first two years of her life she was at a pharmaceutical research lab) and she was up for adoption (for 16 months mind you, and noone wanted her because she was "ugly")...people told me not to take minnie home because she was and i quote..."fat, ugly and she is going to pee all over your house"...apparently the rumor is that laboratory beagles are hard to house break...that was not my experience at all...it took 3 months to house break minnie (just like a puppy)... i adopted her in april 2004...she is a fantastic dog and i couldnt ask for anything more....best decision ever. i love her to death. minnie is an incredible dog because although her life has not been ideal, she doesnt let it get her down...minnie has more spirit and personality than any dog ive ever met...she's truly inspiring.

Bio: minnie's favorite book.... For Bea: The story of the beagle that changed my life...if you have a retired research beagle, you have to read this book.

the other night my beagle nose got me into trouble...i sniffed out some rodent poison and it smelled so good that i gobbled it all up!! boy did it taste good...good thing they color it bright green because my mom took one look at it and knew. my mom immediately made me throw it all up...(what a party pooper!)...she gave me hydrogen peroxide...it tasted so yucky, but it did the trick....i got really sick and threw up all of the poison!!! my mom called animal poison control and they said since i threw it all up, that i would just need a blood test in a few days to make sure i didnt actually ingest any...i mean after all that peroxide, how could i?!?! long story short, today is my birthday and i ruined it because i have a very sore tummy, so i cant have any birthday treats...my mom decided to postpone my birthday party until next week.
