He was the pup hiding in the corner of the pen & scared to death of everything!...My "save the world" instincts kicked in & I told my hubby "WE HAVE TO TAKE THIS DOG!"

Sammy Whammy has come around with a bang!...lol...He is becoming more social everyday!...Because he has no sheep he "guards" my 8 cats...They wish he'd stop that!...lol!

I am 1 today!!


My baby is 1!

It's my baby's 1st b-day!!!!!!!!!!...He has grown up too quickly!!!...I got him at 14 weeks & 43 lbs....He is now 1 yr. & about 110 lbs...He has overcome severe shyness, learned to walk steps, learned what a collar & leash are for, learned to accept new people, learned that putting his teeth on anyone is a no-no, & doggy kisses are a big YES-YES!!!...He has learned the inevitable sit, stay, down, wait, come, gimme 5...He has learned that EVERYTHING with wheels is not "THE DEVIL"...He has learned that even though he loves my cats they have sharp claws...He has learned that my children are not sheep but it's o.k. to watch over them...He has learned that if he looks at me with big sad eyes he can keep his place on the couch & I'll take whatever room is left over...He has learned what "potty outside", what "BAD DOG" means & mostly what "GOOD BOY" means...He has learned what it is to be a family member & not just a dog...I have learned the meaning of UNCONDITIONAL love...My first canine baby turns one today...I have learned so much.
