These two beautiful purebred scottie dogs were found together on a busy local street. They were well fed and only a little dirty. They had gentle manners and seemed to be housebroken. They both had collars, but no tags. When scanned, there was no sign of a microchip. I took them to the East Valley Animal Shelter but no one came for them. I "adopted" them together, otherwise, they would have been separated. Then I found them the best fur-ever home where they lived together.
Sad update: Dougal suddenly died. He was getting the best of care, so it was sudden and devastating. Both his sister and his owner are bereft.
They call it puppy love. Fiona means fair, and she is my fair lady. We've been together fur as long as I can remember. Recently we got lost. Nice people found us and tried to find our former owners, but we had no tags or chips. We spent some time in the shelter but our people didn't come for us. We needed to find a fur-ever home.
Our foster mom adored us and our beautiful manners. We are great together and with other dogs. We are purebred Scottish Terriers and have beautiful glossy black coats. The photos online don't do justice to our good looks, because they were taken right after we were found, and the rain made our coats curl. I'm a little bigger than my lady friend and she thinks I look dashing.
Our foster mom tried to keep us separate from her other dogs, because they were jealous of us, but we kept escaping. Mom snuck out to watch and got a video showing how we managed to get out of the side yard. Since I was the instigator, she called me "Houdini with a Tail." Fiona was always right behind me...
We got fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. A wonderful man adopted us both and showered us with affection and attention. We get walked and brushed every day, and get frequent baths and scotty haircuts.
