Stop, drop and roll. And bang! got him out of needing anesthesia for his x-rays this summer. He just laid there like a champ.

Arrival Story:
My roommate in college was a vet student and they often passed e-mails around for animals needing homes. His litter got passed around and I saw the pics and fell madly in love with one merley black fuzzy face. The others were cute but he was the one. I only had one back-up pup out of the litter of 13. It was almost graduation time so I decided after years of wanting a large breed (about 22 years) I would give myself one as a graduation present. We went out to meet the litter of pups and he came running up to me as well as a 5 week old pup can. I went back a week later to get him. I've made a lot of mistakes with my first dog (taking him at 6 weeks old being the first of them) but I've learned so much from him. He truly is a wonder dog since he has plowed right through all my mistakes and turned out to be an incredibly loving animal.
