well last night a bad thing happened. belles' 2 chinchillas' got out. she caught one and the other was in moms' room under the bed. they chased him from there to the living room. before they got out there i had a hold of it in my mouth. i just shook it a bit. well belle saw this and yelled at me. i dropped it. it was screaming. well it ran across the room then died.. i think it died of fright!! well mom picked it up said" it passed away" and put it down. well she put it in a bag. they took it outside and buried it.. but dogs chase rabbits.. and other small rodents.. i didn't mean to hurt it. maybe it died of stress... i don't know but i'm sorry. i was in moms' lap by her side all night after that.. i felt terrible. later,peter

Don`t feel too bad,Peter.We all do "doggie"things from time to time. Last summer,I caught a ground hog in my mouth,shook it and Dad made me drop it but then had to watch the poor thing die slowly as its back was broken.

that's what mom said . I t was just instinct..But Belle said it was really squirming frantically while it was in my mouth and screaming..that's when i dropped it. but dogs' naturally chase anything that runs.. right??especially rodents...
