Pugtoberfest 2006!

I can not believe it has been a year since I have written in this!! Well yesterday (10/7) I went to Pugtoberfest for the second time. Mom and Dad think I did a lot better this time. Last time when they put me in the play pen my tail was down, this time it was up! For some odd reason when I am on a walk, I like to bark at other dogs, but I never bark at pugs.... odd. Anyhow, I meet this one pug named Gabriel. He was resuced and came from the San Gabriel pug resuce. I wish mom and dad would have adopted him. He was really nice and chubby, reminded me of Chris Farley.

A lot more pugs came this time. I got to sit on mommy's lap while we watched the halloween parade. Mom bought me a lobster costume, but she didn't bring it. So I did not get to participate... :( There is always next year! I can not wait!!!

PUGtoberfest 2005!

So yesterday, October 1st my mommy and daddy took me to Pugtoberfest to make lots for pug friends. They felt it was time for me to be more social with other dogs since I had a pretty good experience with the corgis. So we get to the park in Costa Mesa and I am soooo extremely nervous! There were hundreds of animals that look just like me!!!! I couldn't believe it. Mom and dad tried to get me to play with other pugs, they even put me in a play pen, but I didn't really want to play. To tell you the truth I was pretty scared and weirded out that all these other pugs wanted to sniff my wee wee and butt. That's not something that happens to me everyday! I would say I was a pretty behaved boy, only barking twice the whole day!

There was an adoption fair where they were trying to find puggies homes. Those pugs up for adoption were really nice to me, much less aggresive and very calm. I like it! Dad wanted to adopt this black pug, but didn't for some reason. I guess it's not the time, but honestly I really hope they get me a pug friend some time soon!

My first ever PUGTOBERFEST was quite an adventure!! Thanks mom and dad for taking me! I promise next year I will be more social with other pugs =)

My first friends!!

Today I made my first friends ever!! They are two girl welsh corgi's names Sophie and Gussy! There mom is best friends with my mom, and finally decided it was time for us to meet. When I got there I was kinda nervous, they were trying to smell my butt and I did not like it! Then we played around the yard, mainly they hearded around me because they are known to be hearding dogs. They chased me up hills and around the yard. Once we went by the trash cans on the side yard and heard a big dog bark, so we all ran in a line together because we were all scared. My dad thought it was really funny, but I did not. Towards the end I was getting chased soooo much that Ibarely could handle it so I would jump up on my mommys lap to avoid them. She would put be back on the floor and I would get tag teamed chased again! So I kept jumping on her lap. Finally she decided it was time for me to go home and I said my goodbyes.

Mom and Dad were really happy that I was able to behave myself and make some new friends. Usually I don't make friends too well, I always bark at them or they bark at me. But I finally made my first friends!!! YAY!
