Arrival Story:
A couple of friends and I began a not-for-profit rescue, so we are always watching out for doggies in need. I came across Nelson on petfinder and he was in a shelter a couple of counties over from where I live. He was listed as urgent and in danger of being euthanized. He was too darn cute to let that happen, so a friend and I packed up some crates and went up to get him. We also pulled a couple of puppies, a cat, and several kittens.

Bio:
Nelson has been adopted!!!! I really don't know what he is mixed with. Possibly some Sheltie with some Pomeranian and a bit of Keeshond thrown in; in other words, he is a pure-bred mutt! He is neutered, partially housebroken, up to date on necessary vaccinations, and is VERY sweet. Nelson gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and does not seem to mind cats, although he has not had much exposure to them. He is a happy little dog that would make someone a wonderful companion. Nelson will only go to a home where he will be an indoor dog, and only be let outside with supervision as he can get out of some fences. The little bugger is a bit of an escape artist. He is learning that the leash isn't going to kill him and to be more polite and not jump on people. Nelson has been adopted!!!!
