So we live up high near the mountains and that often results in us not getting rain for long periods of time. Amazing how the weather can change after moving an hour west of where you used to live (or where my parents did 2 years ago, I've only been 'here').

Being I have a dark black coat, the hot VA sun can sure make it SUPER DUPER hot!!! When it's hot out, I mope and pout and want INDOORS. Mom says I need to make up my mind during these hot days as I'm "in-out-in-out".

But now it's supposed to rain all week, a rare thing for the Winchester area. Mom misses living in Fairfax as the weather was more "normal". Rain once a week, still hot of course, but she misses the rain.

I think she just hates how our water bill is our highest bill! Water out here is expensive and mom said our gas/electric bill combined are less than our water bill. No wonder she loves rain! (But note, I don't 'cause I don't like being wet much).
