people food! My partner in crime (aka mom's daughter Chloe) smuggles me food constantly!

Favorite Walk:
no leash please, I'll only try to take your arm off with it! Mom brings me daily to my favorite lake and woods area on my grandparents property and I runs there for hours and go fishing with my best pal, Thor!

Best Tricks:
Catching squirrels and moles. I love swimming in the lake. I am an EXCELLENT runner!

Arrival Story:
my husband wanted to get a dog to grow up with our baby, who is 1 month younger than Tessie. we went to a pet store and my husband fell in love with tessie. The next day he sent me back to that store to get her. She puked on the car ride home and I thought, "great." Tessie has in turn been such a handful! I would have never picked this dog out myself but she has turned out to be such an amazing pick. Right now my husband is in Afghanistan and having her with me makes me feel so protected, less lonely, and overall happier with the joy she has brought into our lives. She worked her way into my heart and I love her!

Bio:
Tessie was adopted in California and she made the long journey with us via car back to Massachusetts. She loves New England.

Yesterday mommy was closing the pool for the winter and I thought I could walk on the pool cover but it turns out that the cover was not solid and I fell right into the water!! Good thing I know how to swim from going to the lake all summer! The stairs were already out but my mom was in after me within seconds and she lifted me right out! I thought it was great fun but my mommy didn't really think so, but she understands I'm just a pup and a pup's gotta do what a pup's gotta do!!

Today I went running through the woods and to the lake 3 times with my grandpa, he's the best!! Mom says daddy will be home in less than 2 months so I started the countdown!! I love my daddy and I listen to him much better than I listen to my mommy!!

Chloe tried riding me like a horse today, what a silly girl! I didn't mind I'm very gentle but mom still was kind enough to remove her. I also tried Munchie's catnip tonight. YUCK! I don't understand why he likes that stuff but he goes nutty for it!

ok gotta go outside and patrol the yard before bed! I have to earn my keep ya know!
