Arrival Story:
We had just moved from Dallas TX to Oklahoma in the country and wanted a dog. A neighbor down the road had 2 border/lab mix puppies. He said if someone didn't take them he was going to shoot them. Well there was no way we were going to let that happen so we took them both.They were inseparable but Phoebe was bad about chasing cars and was hit. Sophie is a great little girl and we love her so much..

Me and Tipsy caught and killed a giant coon yesterday. It was hiding in a hole in the pond bank but we dug it out. Stupid thing scratched our noses so we killed it. Sambo tried to help but he has the bad hips.. It was huge. Daddy said it probably weighed at least 40 lbs

Wow! My birthday has rolled around again. Sure glad it's cool today and not so darn hot.I'm waiting patiently for daddy to get home. He's been gone for a long time. My furbro,Skeebo, says he's been gone for 500 bazillion yrs but mama says 4 days. I think mama is right. Either way, he's been gone way too long as far as I'm concerned. Mama told me Happy Birthday first thing this morning. That was nice. She said I was gonna get a pressie.Wonder what it will be.. Hmmm...

OMD! Summer is here and it is HOT! Today it's 110*! Mommy and daddy have us a nice cool place and then mommy came out and wet all of our paws with the cool water and she put ice cubes in our water. I like that. I fish the ice cubes out and crunch away on them. I'm thinking I will be glad when it cools down just a little bit..
