sugar came from a manhattan shelter. where she had been put on death row for her last owner said she had mange and could not afford to cure her..a rescue service here on long island took her and didnt cure her. buthad the mange under control..thats if u wanna say but she still had mange. i saw her on some adopt page and it was love at first sight...even if she had no hair..i got her in april of 2010 and in sept 2010 she got 3 negs in a row ...MEANS NO MORE MANGE
