This has been so hard to say that we lost one of our family yet again. Gunner was just turning 5yrs old when he got hit by a car for not remembering he was trainned not to go into the street for no reason. So we are feeling very sad for always trusting them to behave. We should of put a wire fence but more than ever with out little dogs that only get out to play and sometimes we feel the Basset will get to running so fast he might jump a bird up and out. So it's been such pain in the heart loosing our kids. Gunner lived for his Kong and barking, and gophers and lizards and hunting anything that moved. I miss him so much..

Ok, My Little Buddy Brodie is Kinda Cool

It's been a month since we got stuck with this little "Lip Biter", Brodie. He seems pretty cool and fun to push around. Boy, he can fly. I love it when he trys to out run me for the tennis ball. That will never happen. There's been less yelling at me so it's been kinda of nice and for some reason I don't feel like chasing my tail all the time thought I was going to have to go on Prozac since I would bite myself afterwards. I was just upset cause I couldn't catch my tail that's all. My owners have been paying more attention to me lately, they think I need to go on a diet and so I have to excercise more. Oh goodie, my plan worked. Find the Cat Food, pig out and Wella! I have to Chase the ball and catch the Frisbee more "Darn". I wish I could learn to play "Flyball" but there isn't anywhere close by to play. I think I am fast enough and can catch like "Willie Mays" did in his time. I am going hunting for Pheasants at the end of next month, my buddy Georgia the Brittney thinks she can out hunt me and find the birds better but, I think I'm better cause I can find Lizards & Toads better than her. They are tricky but they can be found. Well, it's been a long day of chasing the ball, looking for bugs, playing with my buddies, stealing Cat Food, barking at cars, Whew! the sofa looks pretty comfey right now.

My Best Superbowl 2005

Dear Dogster Diary-Today was a super specail day. My owner made lots of food which included Chips, Gucamole, Shrimp, Weenies and Shish Kabobs..Yum. When they left two on the BBQ and myself outside away from the game, I figured they were "All mine". I carefully took one by one off the grill and was able to slide them off the skewer. Not so keen on the grilled onions but the rest was "All Good". Next was the sauce used for Marinating which was a bit difficult to reach so I had to use my skills standing upright like I do in our kitchen for bread and butter. That's a neat trick I learned, very handy. Now that the game is over I can see the Weenies from my "Time Out" Mat it's just a matter of time....
