Arrival Story:
The family had wanted to adopt a dog for a long time. We checked Petfinder and local shelters all the time for the right dog. One day we saw Ellie (then called Tinley) and knew she was ours! She came home the next week with us and immediatly settled in. Can't imagine life without her now!

Bio:
Ellie loves going for walks (she goes insane when she sees the leash) and playing. The sight of any food, especially cheese, peanut butter, and bones, also gets her excited. She can run really, really fast and loves to swim and play, play, play! She looks like a lab puppy, but she's full grown! In fact, everyone we see says, "Oh! She's such a cute puppy! How old is she?" :) We think she might also have some Husky or Jack Russel Terrier in her, as she's only 36 pounds and has a curled-up tail. Whatever she is, she's adorable and a great family dog! We're so glad we adopted her!
