As you all know, our Brett got married this weekend. Because of that, we didn't do anything, but it's only once that Brett gets married so I guess I can deal with it.

Friday night when mom and dad got back from rehersal and dinner mom was really upset and crying. Here, she lost the diamond from her engagement ring somewhere. She was so upset to I went into search mode and tried to help her find it. We looked all over the garage, driveway, car, went back to the church and looked all over there but we never found it. To make matters worse, when mom was in the shower and dad was upstairs after they got back, I chewed up a tablet and other stuff that was on the table. Mom and dad were both really upset. I know, I know, I should have been on my best behavior considered the circumstances, and I honestly don't know why I started chewing again since I haven't done it in so long. Needless to say, it was to my crate for the rest of the night.

Saturday was the big day. I didn't see much of mom and dad once they left. Let me tell you, mom looked beautiful all dressed up and her hair done and dad looked very handsome in his suit. Anyway, mom left the reception to come and let us out to go potty, that's when I got to meet Joanne from North Carolina. She was really nice and I was so excited to meet her that I piddled on the floor (of course). She really liked me cause she had an aussie named Rocky before and we reminded her of him.

Mom and dad didn't get home til really late, I mean like 330am late! Needless to say, dad partied hard and he was funny walking around. Mom was actually pretty good. I guess after last weekend she learned her lesson. In fact, she ended up being the DD for people and she didn't get home unti later cause she was being the taxi service. Good ole mom:)

Sunday I thought we would get to do something, but it didn't happen. Mom and dad didn't even get up until after lunchtime. Of course, they didn't go to bed until the wee hours of the morning either. Dad was feeling pretty rough so no grass cutting or opening the pool. I was sad about that cause it was 94 degrees and I really wanted to go swimming. Hopefully it gets opened up this week. Brett, Chelsea and a friend of theirs did stop by to visit. It was nice to see them, but a little weird to see Brett and Chels and know they are married like mom and dad. Seems like only the other day they were engaged... oh that's right, they were... BOL:D Anyway, as you can see, it was a boring weekend spent mostly in the house. I don't think this week will be much better cause all the stuff mom kept putting off cause of the wedding she'll have to do this week. The one good thing though is that we have a cabin trip coming up and I can't wait!

Okay, I'm heading out to help dad cut the grass. Gotta be sure he doesn't fall over from the heat. Try to stay cool and I'll bark at you all later in the week.
