Puppies anyone??

Well well well, I am here to tell you my biological clock is tick tick tinking, I really want to have some puppies, but mama can't find a full blood blue or red heeler to breed me with, and gosh darn it I've just gone into heat and I just wanna orecreate liek the dickens. Ahh well, there is always next year.

How I got my Name

Hi you may be wondering how I got such a LOOOONNNGGGG 4 sylable name! Well basically my mommie really liked the greek mythology ocurses in high school, and her favorite story was abotu the Grrek Goddess of spring Persephone...Therfore, I was named after her.

If you don't know the story here is a quick overview.

Persephone was the beautiful daughter of the goddess of the harvest Demeter. One day Persephone was strolling along a stream picking flowers, when she came upon Hades the god of the underworld. By coincadence Eros the god of love had seen Hades a few moments before adn thought he looked depressed and lonely so he shot him with a love arrow. Well these arrows make you fall in love with the first person they see, and Persephone was the first person Hades saw.

Hades then snagged Persephone and took her to the underworld...he married her and loved her. Persephone really liked Hades too, but she longed for the flowers, trwees, and beauty of the land above. Demeter, found out that Persephone had been captured and went to the heaqd god Zues to plead for her daughter's return. Zues went down to talk to Hades and saw that the two love birds were quite happy and couldn't demand that Hades return his bride to her mother. But Dememter was quite insistant that Persephone be returned to her side and caused the world to freeze over. When Mankind complained abotu the freezing temperatures and the lack of food, Zues desided to make a compromise...if Persephone has not eaten anything then she could returnto her mother's side.

Persephone told Zues that she had eaten 6 pomegrante seeds, and therefore Zues had to tell Demeter and Hades that Persephone had to stay in the underworld for six months out of the year, and on the upper world for six months out of the year. So when Persephone is in the underworld with her husband hades the world goes through a dieing cycle, and when Persephone is with her mother Demeter the world goes through a living cycle...therefore the four seasons Autumn, Winter, Spring, and summer were born.

Home again

Well things have really been hetic. My mommy left for a while, and her boyfriend took me to Bandera to stay with his daddy. He was really nice, he fed me all kinds of goodies that mommy never let me have when she was around. I got to play with deer, and his Jack Russell Dixie...who I don't think liked me very very much!! Then like days and days later, my mommy finally come back!! I didn't recognize her at first, cause she looked diffrent, but she still smelled the same!! I was soooo happy, I rode forever in the car, and puke all over the back seat, but mommy didn't get mad, she was soooo nice. Now I'm back home where I was born, and living in a small apartment, but I get to walk all over town ever day and sniff at all the glorious smells. I also get to go to the doggy day care and chase the cattle and play with other doggies. I am really content!
