Arrival Story:
We lost our nearly 13 year old Siberian, Kita. He was a wonderful dog that we had gotten from one of the top Siberian breeders on the east coast. We called her to let her know Kita had passed and she had recently had a litter. She wasn't sure if she was going to be breeding much if at all anymore, it seemed like the perfect time. We went to meet the 3 pups from the litter, they all looked identical (2 boys and a girl) I really wanted another boy, and I had in mind the one I wanted based on a picture she had sent. When we got there she let them in and the one I had pre-picked was counter surfing and chewing cords and raising a ruckus. Quite the little mischief maker. Even with that, I went with my gut and brought him home anyways. He is a joy in our lives. We still miss Kita every day, and Loki is no replacement. It's easier on us and our 12 year old who misses the companionship to have Loki around. We're a whole family again and extremely happy!
