He was a little husky/shep boy named Silver. He was saved from the pound and adopted by new owners and returned because he woke his owners up too early. Come on I mean he was a 8 week old pup. My brother wanted to adopt him but he lives in a aprtment and we knew he was going to be a big boy. So he came to our house just on a temporary basis until he got adopted. Well it only took one day and I was in love. He was the most beautiful puppy. It took me a day to convince my hubby and then it was official Dakota became our newest and sixth doggie in the house. He is a lover boy and he snuggles on the bed all 75 pounds of him. Bio: I'm a beagle lover. When we adopted Dakota everyone said northern breeds are very independent. When we first had him he didn't want to even sit on my lap. Now he is 75 pounds and the biggest baby ever. He sleeps on the couch and the bed. He is sooo loving. So now I'm hooked on another breed besides the beagle. He is a big baby boy and a little love bug. He likes to talk to us and I know that is the husky in him. He is very smart and he knows how to sit lay down and he loves to shake. You couldn't ask for a better dog. He loves playing with the other dogs and he loves the cat. They are buds. I don't know how anyone could have given him up, but I'm glad they did because now he's ours forever.
