Bio:
Hi, my name is Nia and I am a 4 month-old pure bred brindle Boxer girl. I am a friendly, affectionate, loyal and rambunctious pup who loves to play all day. I love all people and dogs and even cats!! I was born with a disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which disrupts the signal from my brain to my legs. (I kinda tend to forget about that, because it doesn’t bother me one single bit!) My owner took me to the shelter, but the wonderful people at BRBR saved me when they saw how cute I was! Thank goodness, because with the help of my foster family, I have not only mastered walking, I can now run, and I’m really fast, too!!! I have so much fun running fast – I like to chase my fur foster brother when he runs. It makes me so happy! I am like any other normal puppy. Well, my foster mom says I am better than a normal puppy, because I have had to use my smarts to stay ahead of the game and get to this point. My intelligence, combined with my refusal to ever give up, makes me a very special dog. I am really looking forward to meeting my forever family and getting to show off my talents to them. Especially my kissing ability! MUAH! Must be in a home that has the following: Few or no stairs to maneuver. Medical issues: Cerebellar Hypoplasia Needs work on: Still working on house-training – but coming along nicely.

How To Adopt::

Requirements to Adopt::
Applicant(s) must be 21 years of age / Applicant(s) must be able to assist with transport of your new dog / Applicant(s) must agree to a homevisit and follow-up homevisit / All personal pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and on heartworm prevention./ Adopted boxers are required to be kept on heartworm prevention and current on vaccines for the duration of their lives./ Boxers will only be adopted to indoor homes.

Adoption Fees::
Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue's adoption fee is between $250 & $350, unless otherwise noted. All of our Boxers are fully vetted (including:neuter/spay, rabies vaccine, HW test, dhlpp vaccines, fecal and worming) as well as treated for any injuries or illnesses prior to adoption. All of our Boxers are on heartworm prevention.

Please Note::
Details on individual dogs will not be discussed until we have received and approved your application and your home visit. After both of these requirements are met a Representative will contact you and answer any questions you may have.

We only adopt our boxers to indoor homes located in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virgina - Thank you for considering adopting from Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue
