Arrival Story:
We went to our local animal shelter. It just happened to be 1/2 price pet adoption day. We were just walking in and Jake had immediately came up to me and laid on my feet on his back. I was immediately "in love " with him. While I had to even convince my husband to even go to the shelter at all, he was taken by this response by him. My husband convinced me to look at the other dogs. The other dogs were barking and were very hyper. We went back outside and while I did the paperwork to adopt Jake, he bacame "friendly" with my husband. We both believe that Jake was sent to us from God. Since we have kids from previous marriages, but at the time my husband wasn't seeing his and I saw my child every once in a while, Jake became "our child" since I could no longer have children. Jake is a unique and special dog and as each day passes we are truly blessed to have Jake.
