I knew my husband would love her mix, so I showed her to him and he instantly fell in love too. She sounded like the perfect addition to our household, and a great companion for Bandit (our 2 yr old puggle). We wanted to take some time to talk about it and think it over. A few days later, my husband presented a perfect argument for us not to get the dog (to do with pursuing our careers further and starting a family in a year or so and the added work of a second dog - really good points) and he completely convinced me.
A few days after that he spilled the beans that it was all a load of crap to surprise me with Tia on my birthday. But he realized it would be better for me to know, so I could go with him and Bandit to meet her and see for myself how they interact, as that would be the determining factor. I was so convinced from our earlier discussion that I was really hesitant at first. By the time the weekend came around, we went down to meet her, and saw her and Bandit interact in those first few minutes, there wasn't a doubt in my mind. Its been crazy fun chaos ever since, and the dogs love each other! She couldn't be more perfectly suited for our household if we had created her ourselves. Bio: They don't know anything about her background, but she was a favorite at the SPCA. She is an amazingly sweet dog who loves everyone and is up for anything. She is so responsive, though, that she can also just lay back and hang if no one wants to play.
