Quick Bio:
-purebred-deaf

Birthday:
January 20th 2010

Likes:
Chloe loves her small tennis balls and teasing her big brother Ax with them.

Pet-Peeves:
Chloe's pet peeves are weird ones. For example; She attacks her own tail when she catches a glimpse of it.

Favorite Toy:
The tennis ball and the swimming pool are her favorite but she has a thing for licking the wall and chewing on her blanket.

Favorite Food:
We have discovered that she really likes Vitality dog food and after reading the ingredients it seems like a good dog food but as far as dry goes she eats Iams

Favorite Walk:
We have a bike path right out our back yard so that I'm sure is her favorite.

Arrival Story:
My husband and myself brought Chloe home being told that she is not blind even though she has blue eyes. All I know is that she was adorable. After a few days it became obvious that she was deaf and had some vision trouble. Figuring out all of this didn't discourage us one bit as we loved her the moment we saw her. Chloe's vision is a mystery as her pupils are down low, an odd shape, and her pupils don't shrink down in bright light so she is limited to how much sun exposure she has. She can see some things pretty good but other times she can't so we think she sees objects but no details.

Bio:
I was told by the person that bred Chloe that both of her parents were dapples and that is why she looks like she does. I later contacted the breeder to let him know about Chloe and he had no idea that you are not supposed to breed two dapples. As Chloe gets older we have discovered that she has cataracts in her eyes. Along with her hearing loss she has some OCD behavior that causes some trouble for the people in the house. We think she has IBS that gives her a tummy ache at times and she doesn't understand the pain so she makes us hold her. Sometimes its a matter of a rash on her armpit that will upset her. She is the love of our life so we do tend to spoil her.
