Arrival Story:
I found another dog, Gizmo a Shih Tzu, that was up for adoption through Luv-a-Bull rescue in Eugene. Gizmo was already taken, so they sent me Valentino's picture with a short bio of his very mellow personality. I loved the little guy, and went to meet him at the Adopt-a-Pet event at the Healthy Pet. He was such a Love Bug. Lay in my arms, and closed his eyes in utter bliss. I fell in love with him! Cassandra was there, and they did fine although she was a bit unnerved by so many people and dogs. So, an application was made. He is getting neutered on 8/26, and will come for a home visit on Saturday, 8/28. We will see how he does with kitty. Given his mellow personality, I think he will be fine. We hope he will be here to stay.

Hello, Hello every woof. I am Raja Babu’s new furbling, Valentino or Tino! Wags his tall and shakes paws.
I arrived to my forever home a month ago. Raja sent an e-raja to Mom and said, “You will go to the Pet Adopt-a-Thon and find a little peke. He is yours to bring home.” So, PC and Mom went to Luv-a-Bull’s Adopt-a-thon. Mom had earlier looked at a Tzu but she was already taken. So, they told Mom about me. I was there in a pink coat looking all metrosexual pup.I met Cassandra and gave her a kiss! Love was all around!
I was s stray that was found wandering in LA. I was spayed after I got to Eugene. The rescues here are getting lots of small dogs from the LA area. The vet thinks that I am between 1.5-2 years. I did not have any health issues (smile). I also must have lived with big dogs because I
I was very happy to come home, but when I saw the cat, I chased her. Mom was already in love with me. So, she called the Luv-a-Bull rescue and asked for advice. So, for ten days, we were kept separate. I was on a leash inside the house, and would be crated when Mom went out. Every time I saw kitty, I was given a treat. So, I came to associate her with positive things. After two weeks, we learned to tolerate each other. Sometime I still stare at kitty, but I don’t chase her anymore.
When I went to the dog park with the Luv-a-Bull volunteer I was running with all the big dogs. I was such a small pups. So, Mom says I run with the dogs of Pamplona.
I am a pack dog. I love to play with other dogs.
I have learned to walk on a leash and know the commands sit and stay. I go to Dogs at Play (Raja’s daycare) twice a week. Mom doesn’t want to take me to dog parks. So, I get my dog fix there.
Cassandra and I have become good friends. Every morning we play like Raja and Cassandra used. I have not gone to the beach, but plans to take me there soon.
Life is good. I hope every woof finds a forever home.
