Arrival Story:
We were looking on Petfinder to adopt. I had applied for another dog with a different rescue organization but hadn't heard anything back from them. I applied for Osky and heard back immediatley. His foster mom worked with a woman who had become pregnant and didn't think Oscar would be good with kids so she gave him to rescue. Oscar wasn't doing well in his foster home as he is not really fond of a large crowd of dogs and his foster mom had 20. He was growling and snapping at everyone. She said she didn't want to keep him for much longer so we took the 4 hour drive to Atlanta to pick him up that weekend. He's our "babyman".

Bio:
He was already named "Oscar" when we adopted him and it fits him well as he is a bit of an Oscar the Grouch. He looooooves to growl and he does. He growls when he wants food, when he wants your attention.....he has a different growl for everything. He ignores the other dogs like he thinks he is better than they are....and we let him think that. I believe he was hit in his former home. When he first came to us he was terrified of men and would get scared everytime someone went to touch him. Now he's confident (some would say full of himself) and happy.
