Birthday: October 7th 2002 Likes: Food, cuddling, getting tummy rubs Pet-Peeves: Hates the vaccuum, and hair dryer. Doesn't like her back feet tickled. Favorite Toy: The Duck Favorite Food: Moist and Meaty, real meat Favorite Walk: In the woods Best Tricks: Dance (she jumps and spins around) Holds treats on her nose. Arrival Story: I have always wanted an inside dog since I was a kid. I found out about welsh corgis in fourth grade and since then had always wanted one.
Eventually I had found out that my Aunt's husband's sister had corgis I was very excited. I was told I could have one of the puppies from her dog's litter. Unfortunately, the dog intended to have the litter didn't get pregnant, and her dog that wasn't supposed to breed because she was sick got pregnant.
I got her on Christmas in 2002, it was a complete surprise I had no idea. The moment actually felt surreal.
She herself has had no signs of illness that her mother had. She will not be having any puppies because she was spayed so she can't carry on anything. Bio: Roxy has had many homes as have I. Currently she lives with me in Pittsburgh.
She is much happier here than she was at my mothers. She gets good food, and there are no fleas.
She likes to chill out with us, but she will bark if she hears anything or people outside or in the hallway. She is a very good watch dog.
Roxy loves other animals but is a little picky with other dogs. Some she will be best friends with and others she gets annoyed at. I think if she feels like they're trying to overpower her she gets defensive but if they don't mess with her much she will be okay and warm up to them.
She loved to play with Olly the cat. My sister's cat. Now she has her friend Wesley the ferret. They like playing chase because, well, that's both of their favorite games. Wesley bites Roxy on the nose sometimes when she is under the couch and she sticks her nose under there. Roxy got a new grooming brush today. She's had one but this one is much more effective. If you didn't know already Corgis shed A LOT. She sheds constantly but twice a year she sheds her winter and summer coat. Even though she has short hair the difference between winter and summer is very obvious. Especially from her neck. In winter it's all puffed and bushy looking now it looks like it's been smoothed down on her.
