Arrival Story:
We adopted Annie from the Humane Society in Milwaukee in 1994. She was our first wedding anniversary present (thus the name 'Annie'), and she was VERY excited to be our 'kid'. She was about 6 years old, and her name was Shana...didn't fit!

Bio:
Annie loved going for rides in the car, and would get so wound up if someone teased her, they would end up taking her out for a ride, even at 11pm! She always knew when it was dinner time for the family, and tried so hard to be discreet while sneaking tastes of whatever the kids dropped on the floor. She hated to be left alone, and did a lot of damage to our apt. when we first got her. She was great about letting us know if someone was here, but didn't do much about it beyond bark a little! She was very much loved by all of us. Because of her age, arthritis, failing kidneys, and bad heart, we let Annie go to heaven on Feb. 4, 2005. We love her so very much, and know she will be there waiting for us. We also know she will sneak around to check on us now and then...
