The spring flower bouquets are all over our dogster/catster pages.
Thank you pals for thinking of US:
FOXIE AND BABY....Our pages are so cheery and beautiful.

Our dogatary was shocked in her email box!!! Apparently the fleas were
very active when Flowers were sent....Many pals, their flowers
arrived several different times! Took her a long time to delete our email
notices. I thought it was Funny!!!!! something FUN for an ugly
weather day!

Today a Wintry mix on the North Dakota Prairie. Spitting snow, gray,
cold and very damp. The wind blew and pounded the house all night long!
Last week, Our Governor put a burning ban on..... It is very very dry
here in our state. The risk of prairie fires is very real! Have even
ask people to not burn their fire-pits in their yards. Doesn't take
much for thousands of acres to burn on the prairie. Our house has been
there and done that! Would rather NOT fight additional open prairie fires.
Often sparks from the trains cause fires to start. Carelessness as
well as lack of common sense start many fires.

to all the Furs here at dogster and catster. On behalf of the
PONDEROSA ANGELS: Baby and Foxie, who were joined by Precious
the kitty, this past March....All nominated Me, the Ponderosa
Princess, Mazy the doxie to speak for us all.....

We'd like to thank all the pals who mailed us cards to help
us celebrate the Holidays. Thank all the furs, pups and kits,
that prettied our pages for the season. The pmails and emails
to stay in touch. We Love You ALL and pray for a Pawsome 2015
for each of you!

We tried very hard to keep up with all our pals. Juggling
several sites while waiting to see what would happen with
our Beloved Dogster/Catster...proved to be an overwhelming
task for my dogatary. Finally, she admitted it was an....
IMPOSSIBLE task to add to her workload. Now that our site
has been bought out and is being rebuilt...We HOPE in the
FUTURE, many of the pals will Return here. If not, we will
consider ourselves Blessed for the Time in which our Paths
and Paws Crossed in this World.

I'll be back after the Holidays to Report on Our Christmas
here on the Prairie. Better sign off, places to go and people
to see.

Checkin' In 4 Crazy Mazy!

Angel Baby- sprinkled angel dust, but Zelda,a min-pin is on her page.
Right ID but wrong pup....

So anywho, Mazy could read group mails today. She can't access her
groups. Tells her she isn't a member. We tried and tried...We pmailed
HQ with the problem.

We can look at pals pics and diaries but we can't comment. Gives us
Error 4 or error 6 messages.

Mazy can't say she is tryin' to access dogster daily. Grandma is
tryin' to work on the fall stuff before winter shows up. A week
ago, it was in the 90's. Then the bottom fell out and was, 50-60.
The next 2 nights, the prairie will take HARD freezes. It is 40
at 2p. and the wind today will gust to 40mph.

We picked oodles of tomatoes yesterday. Put in our sunroom
to ripen. We are done canning and freezing for this year. We only
have apples to process for baking and into sauce. We are eating
ripe tomatoes. The mega over flow, it going to the Nursing Home
and the County Senior Center. As well as anyone who wants Maters!

This week:Gma and Gpa cleaned a bunch of the garden plants off.
Chasin' sticks all over the yard. Washing exterior windows and
trim. Knocked all the stuff off the steel siding of house.
After the hard freeze, will start cutting flowers back. Empty
perennial flower pots.

Mazy has been on alot of guard duty. Gma and Gpa have been runnin'
to grandson's football games and granddaughter's volley ball games.
Gpa has been drivin' Gma around to a bunch of medical appointments.
2014 has been a very tough year for Gma. Next week, she has 3 more
medical appts. Some were routine and things put off. Others are
on going issues. Still lookin' for ways to reduce her chronic pain.
Mazy hasn't had another IBS attack, since she finished her antibiotics.
She will take probiotics 2x's a day for rest of her life.......

Gpa and Gma are going out with the furmily to celebrate Grandpa's
64th. birthday. Gma is going to make him grilled ribeye and lobster
tail with baked potato and green beans for his birthday supper
at home. Phooey! His B-day cake is going to be dark chocolate...
Mazy isn't goin' to like that! This past year both of them have slowed
down alot! They just can't work as many hours or as long of days
as they used too.....Seems like they are always behind....Hoping
for a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLoooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg FALL! So much
to do before snow flies......

Here's the Zillion dollar question?????? Will this diary post
for my furmily?????????? Sprinklin' extra Angel Dust and prayin'

All Our Love,
Ponderosa Angels

BIRTHDAY. I've been at the bridge four years now.
Gma and Mazy were so happy to see I've not been forgotten.

Mazy has been at the Doggie Hotel while Gma and Gpa have
been on vacation with the grandkids, daughter and son-in-law.
Raining today and Gma is trying to check into dogster.
Having trouble......

A pal made a birthday picture for me. Gma put it in our
puter. We try to add a picture by clicking on that on my
page. Nothing happens???????? We were able to open my diary.
Sure don't understand what is up now???? Anywho, we tried
clicking on the Community tab too. Our drop down menu
doesn't appear....We can't try to load a picture that way

On Mazy's page the add a picture will open. Other features
will not.... I guess, all we can do is thank the Kirk Puppers
and hope the fleas go away, very soon....
We will try and pmail our pals and hope this will work
for us?????

Things are very busy at the Ponderosa. Unpacked, did up all
the laundry. A dent in the inside chores was made. Gma/pa
tilled and weeded the veggie garden today. Picked up sticks
a couple times. Started raining so can't catch up on the mowing.

Foxie and I kept an eye on Mazy from the bridge. She ate and
did her normal potties this time. She made a doxie furiend
while there. She had her own toys, blankets, bed, food, treats,
water,etc.... Gma called to check on her...was told she was
doing fine. Even a smelly t-shirt with their scents on it.

They picked her up about 4 p.m. on Thursday the 12th. She
was hungry and thirsty when she got home. Her 1st., 2 poops
were normal. 12 hrs. we go again! Same fall-out
as before....Mazy's little gut betrays her! She had probiotics
everyday. Plus several other preventive measures.

Once home, the stress induced bacterial colitis hit her hard.
She was given the same medications as before. Digel 1 time,
Pancur Powder 3 days and antibiotic for 10 days. The antibiotic
is Metronidazole. Mazy is eating, sleeping and playing...
Just the way she always does...Mazy was happy to go home to her
own place. Didn't seem to be upset or anxious about where she was.
Mazy is sticking to Gma and Gpa like glue!

Mazy will fill you all in as soon as she has a chance.
Foxie and myself have been partying up a storm. Both of
us have June bridge days. My birthday was set years ago
as June 10. Looks like the Ponderosa and South Central ND
are going to have a wet June. Some of the annual flower
pots are too wet. Drooping from too much water........
The vegetable garden looks good, but can use some sunshine!
It was cleaned up today, before rain set in again.
Gma hoed weeds while Gpa ran the tiller between rows...
Temps. are cool. Rain is forecast everyday for a week.
No sunshine today and never made it to 70 ish... Stalled
out at 62. sure glad I'm at the bridge where the weather
is perfect!

Sending angel kisses to all
Angel Baby

Howdy from the bridge...Mom,I've been watching
spring unfold on the prairie. It is as unpredictable
as I remember! I'm so happy the weather here is just
perfect all the time. Not too COLD or too HOT for me!

We requested a real nice day for the 1st. day of
Spring! Our request was granted...We sent you plenty
of sunshine and a day of 54. We were zooming
around with you and Mazy as you spent time outside.
I could see Mazy was having a blast! Now she has a
good case of Spring Fever.

Sorry about the skiff of snow the day before and
the day after....There were some Prairie Angel
Furs here who wanted to send snow to their families.
Their request was granted! I know, there are many
who like that cold stuff... I sure don't miss the
COLD! All snow is gone, except where Dad piled it
with a tractor. The ground will thaw soon... I
see your dwarfed irises are peeking through the
ground. I always loved the smell of the yard
with all the flowers blooming.

The weather will settle down and shape up pretty
soon...I see, Dad has 6 baby moos on the ground
already. They are always so cute! Maybe this year
there won't be any bottle babies? I was watching
today, when Dad lined up a truck to come and take
calves to sell this week.

So Dad is going to retire??? We are keeping our
paws all crossed up here, that he follows through
on that quickly. I know, both of you are tired
and it's time for a new chapter to unfold. I
can't believe the grand-kids are so big now!
10 and 12,where did the time go? They will be
on summer vacation by May 15th.

Foxie and I are so are going to take
the grand-kids to South Dakota on vacation. Something
they will always remember. Mt.Rushmore,Zoo,Water Park,
Gold Mine,Deadwood and Museums...Sounds like a Blast!
Mazy will do fine at the doggie hotel. Especially since
they have doxies too! I bet,she get to play with them.

Keep your Eyes open for the travel home. You'll find
just what you are looking for. Mazy will love it! She's
happy as long as she goes with you...She doesn't take
up much space. Interesting to see if, Dad can live in
small mobile house??? Funny how, now that he has
arthritis...His attitude towards the cold is changing.
You've fought the arthritis and fibromyalgia for 40 yrs.

Tell Great-Grandma "hi" from Foxie and myself. Enjoy
your time with her in May. Doesn't seem possible that
Great-Grandpa has been with us a year. We go fishing
everyday with the two Great-Grandpas. I'm still just
a water wader....Foxie still swims and swims and swims!

Mom, I'll always love you....
Sending Angel Kisses, Baby

Angel Baby Royal Angel of the Month, January 2014

A Letter From Your Pet In Heaven
December 18, 2013 at 4:27pm
To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on."

God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you...
in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry,
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.

There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night
"My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented...
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
I made somebody smile.

God says: "If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go."

When you're walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...
you're coming here to me.

AS WE SHOULD. Thank you for including us Angels on
all the holiday mails. The beautiful rosies left to
decorate our pages.

We keep a watch on all the furs down there, both known
and unknown to us. Always keeping guard on our earthly
furmilies. As well as the fur-siblings we left behind.
I chose a very important job up here. Keeps me running
like a young pup. I work with all the abused pups, who
never knew a forever home. The kindness and love of
mankind. Since, before Gma found me in a stinky slough,
starved and eating bugs... Walked me to my new home with
bites of granola bar,I know what those pups have been
through. I know, I still hold the record of living
longer than any pup in our prairie area. People amazed
at how badly I had been abused. Yet how much I loved
everyone who came to our ranch.

I find it hard to believe that little doxie ball of
unending energy will be 7 years old this July. Mazy
girl, you've mellowed and settled down. I see, you still
collect all the stuffies you can. You so enjoy romping
with Gma everyday. Now, I think Gma can keep up with
you.... You're such a blessing to Gma and Gpa. You
sure know how to keep them entertained.

Angel Foxie and I watched the day Gpa bought the new
truck for future retirement. I didn't like to ride in
autos after mean hoomans had thrown me from them. I
know, as long as you can go with, you'll take to the
traveling with a house on wheels. Angel Foxie told
me stories of traveling in Great-Grandpa's RV from
Indiana all the way to her North Dakota home. How
much she loved the trip. I know, you hate winter as
much as Gma does. We will be so happy when you can
escape the winters there. We will watch and guide you
wherever you go....

Before I leave, thank you Princess Diva and Prince Charming
group for selecting me at Angel of the Month. What an honor
and a surprise. I'll do my best to reign with love and joy
this January. Thank you Bailey for the beautiful picture
of my throne. I decree, the month of January that all
hoomans must do something special with their furs every
single day of the month.

I better go,I hear the young fur pups crying for more
stories, snacks and snuggles from this Old Baby. I'm their
teacher,nurse,trainer,activities director and Momma.
I'm also one of the greatest story tellers here at the
Bridge. Angel Baby sprinkles angel dust as flies away!

Many Kisses,Angel Baby

Pirate Pals-The Ponderosa Pack of Angels Baby and Foxie,
Precious and myself,Amazing Grace want to Thank all our pals
who sent those Pawsome Pirate Flags to our pages. Huggies
and Kissies to All for Prettying Up Our Little Corner of
Dogster and Catster.

While ya'll were having Pawsome Fun with Pirate Day, I was
Pouting Away! The Old People left me here by myself, very
early in the morning....No one was around,Puppy Patrol
was Boring! Precious ran outside before they left...
Traitor CAT that she is,jumped Ship! I had NO ONE to keep
me company!

I couldn't surf and play with pals...cuz, that mean old Gma
always Plugs the Pull on the Puter! I had alot of really BAD
puppy thoughts about Gma that day....Until they returned
home....She looked a little puffy and pale. She wouldn't
pick me up and snuggle me!

She Had that Bad toopher Pulled...She wanted to just put
the few things away and sit down. She finally told me,
she didn't want to pick me up,cuz...she was afraid,I'd
bump her face.

She said, it wasn't a BAD experience, since they gave her
sleepy stuff. She slept through the whole thing! Took
over 3 hrs. for her face to thaw out... She took some
pain medicine and rested awhile. Then she got up and
made supper for us.

I remember, when they took my impacted baby canines out.
It were NOT FUN!!!!!!!! They put me to sleepy land too!
After I thought about that, I wasn't MAD at Gma for leaving
me home by myself!

After supper I crawled up on her lap and kept her toasty.
Gma only needed pain meds. for 1 day. Gpa slept in other
bedroom a couple nights. Didn't want to turn over and bump
her face.

On the UPSIDE: she had very little swelling,no bruising,
no problem opening her mouth...All her other toophers
stopped aching! She isn't so tired All the time now....
A 20 year crowned toopher doesn't leak and decay underneath
over night. Everyday the rest of her body is feeling a
little perkier! She's glad that is taken care of!!!!
Thank you for the prayers and positive thoughts......

A BIG PLUS FOR GMA: We've had 4.25" of rain in September.
So nice guy that Gpa is: went and pulled all the plants in
the garden for Gma. She can't have dirt in her nose or mouth,
it could affect her 2 weeks of healing. She finished her
antibiotics. Gma still has sweet potatoes, carrots and tomatoes
in the garden. Everything else is out! WE HAVEN'T HAD A FROST

WE Picked sticks, did big fall cleaning on cattle room. The
laundry all day Sunday, baked biscuits, zucchini bread and
paid bills. Today we did our Big house cleaning. Tomorrow
we have a big box of ripe tomatoes to make chili base and
pasta sauce. We had company 3 times this weekend and so I
had lots of extra Pats and Praises. Gma made a huge pot of
vegetable soup she has been eating for lunches. Most things
she can eat. The oral surgeon had a few things on a list to
stay away from. She does these weird salt swishies, several
times a day. Wednesday we are hoping to start washing the
windows and blinds. Gma made it to granddaughter's basketball
game. Kenzie won and scored 12 points. I'm going to start
a petition, cuz,puppies can't go to basketball games! I'm
such a Pawsome Cheering Squad! I am much better behaved
than many big people, who yell as the refs. all the Time!

It's now officially FALL so my people have to work a little
faster! So much outside work and so little time! Rain in
forecast....Phooey! cuz, the new carpet for the back outside
steps hasn't been done yet! Gpa has been fixing fence and
pounding posts with his bad shoulder. He hasn't started moving
hay bales yet. Next week, Gpa will have another barkday!!!!!
WowZer,2013 sure has zipped right by!

Thank you pals for remembering my Bridge Day June 3rd.
and my birthday on June 10th. My page is ever so pretty
with all the pressies my pals sent. Gma was all leaky
eyed when she found the notes, pictures, cake and pressies.

Down there on the prairie is was a gray drippy wet day
on the 3rd. Gma thought the weather suited her being so
sad. Thinking about me all day. She kept real busy as she
is still trying to catch up with all the work of the growing
season. Today on my birthday, it was a lovely day on the prairie.
No rain or wind,sunshine,84 but humid. Nicest day they have had
this spring.

Gpa hustled around and mowed for Gma. Mowing is needed
every 3-4 days with all the rain. Gpa stopped counting
the inches after they hit 9" in 3 wks. Gma was cleaning
up the house. Since she spent most of 5 days outside working.
The garden is finally all planted.(Took 3 days due to weather)
The flower pots were all planted this past weekend too.
Garden went in about 12 days later than last year.

Things are very lush and green on the prairie Angel Foxie
and I love. It isn't dry at all now! The corrals are big
sloppy messes. Water holes, never seem to have a chance to
dry up. Rain is in the forecast for next couple days.

Gpa put all the cows with new calves, the yearling calves,
the fall calving cows out on pasture. They are so enjoying
all the fresh green grass.

Mazy and Gma are back to outside work for the next 3 days.
Weeding, digging in flower beds. Planting flower seeds.
Cleaning the patio furniture and the gas grill. A muddy car
is waiting to be scrubbed inside and out. A garage needs
cleaning too. Maybe this week, the wind and rain will
allow enough time to spray for insects. Gma thinks the
mosquitoes will be the size of buzzards this year.

Up here at the bridge, we've been playing games, eating
treats and welcoming new arrivals. Keeping an eye on our
furmilies down there. So don't worry about us Gma...We
know it's a tough month for you. Both our bridge days
so close together, my birthday, your birthday and the
1st. father's day without you Daddy. Keep your chin up!
Things will get better real soon...

Angel Baby and Angel Foxie
