I'm good at protecting!

So today mom took me to the park. She's real nice, and she takes me there every day! I get to see all my friends, and that's just great!
We went today and I went to smell some grass when that Dash started charging at mom! I ran right over and tried to stop him from getting her, and Dash jumped at me and started biting my neck! I tried to scare him by snapping and growling, 'cause I know that I scare him anyway, but he wouldn't let up!
Mom called me to get me to stop, and I wanted to, but that mean old Dash wouldn't lay off!
His dad got there pretty quick and took him home, though. Mom gave me hotdogs and rubs and told me I was brave!
Then Rozi showed up and we played.

Today I am a working dog.

Today we went for a hike in the woods. What fun! We went with my friends Sadie and Abby. Abby just a baby, but she's pretty alright anyway! She always wants to play with me though. Which I guess is okay, but I was wearing my backpack, which means I'm on the job!
I have the really important task of carrying the water bottles for mom, 'cause she gets thirsty and can't drink out of the stream. She doesn't know what she's missing.
Pfff. Moms.

I hate bath days. I have to get in the tub and they pour water on me and they keep telling me I'm a good girl (which I am, I know that) but they keep pouring water on me! Then it gets okay when they pet me and put that stuff on my fur, but then they POUR MORE WATER ON ME!
Honestly. If I didn't know better I'd swear my people hated me.

Sundays are the best!

Sundays are probably my favourite day.
Mom always gets up early to hang out with me in the morning, even though it's her day off. Today she gave me some cow heart for breakfast! Yum!
Later on we're going to go for a big walk (Mom promised!) and maybe play in the river! Then, if it doesn't rain, my very best friend Sanka is going to come over to play in the backyard with me!
Well, I've got a lot to do today, so I'd better get started!
