Our parents Pamela & Bruce tell how we came together

Isabeau Cana me Shaar Hagai white w/cream body spots of color born in Israel 11/22/01 & arrived w/her sister Keshet in Florida January 2002. It was a long long flight & parting from her littermate at the airport was sad. When we returned first to Ft. Myers (moms house) I met a new friend Laia Maine Coon who was only a few months older & of similar size. When Isabeau mornfully howled after settling in her new crate Laia put her paw thru the crate for comfort & sympathy. Things were looking up and many good things were in store. Dads house where Isabeau stays in Sarasota is off of the Philipi Creek (more like river) and the water birds, birds of prey (Osprey- Eagle) fish otters & coons are MOST entertaining. The occasional manatee puts in a winter time visit.


One of the VERY best things to come was that a male Canaan companion a red/sable had been born in Iowa 1/5/2002. Cherrysh my Jedai Knight was eagerly anticipated...he arrived March. He was much smaller than Isabeau for a little while and she dominated him that first year. However while Isabeau topped out around 43-45lbs.....Jedai turned into QUITE a hunk...65lbs all muscle. The girl don't mess with da boyz food much. He loves her dearly & puts up with all her flirty girl, ankle & arse nipping when she is ready to play & will INSIST on being chased.

Both dogs provide security, loving companionship & just enough manipulative smarts to keep us laughing & on our toes.

Their DIGGING projects in Sarasota are a whole nother story entirely.....staytuned. There are pictures!

They are fed raw + vegs & Eagle Pack Holistic Gold Kibs for variety. Chicken wings are the favorite though the occasional Steak bone does come their way.

Pamela & Bruce are owned by some very special hairy kids.
