Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 9th 2004
Likes: To be the center of attention and to eat as much as possible daily.

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone. She is a real people-person pet. She gets annoyed when I take too many pictures of her. Kind of gives me the "Elvis" sneer to let me know she has had enough.

Favorite Toy: A stuffed unicorn (takes after me in collecting unicorns)

Favorite Food: Anything that doesn't move...and sometimes moving objects also. She is officially an Italian Shih Tzu and just loves a big dish of pasta with parmsean cheese on it....much like myself.

Favorite Walk: She is only allowed to walk in the backyard because she isn't very obedient yet. We have a very big yard and she just runs amuck and has a great time.

Best Tricks: Getting us to sit up and take notice of her.

Arrival Story: We lost our 16-year old German Shepard, Lindy, in July '04. It was a few months before we were ready to add another dog to our family. Angel is the opposite of everything we were looking for. We wanted a medium sized, male, already trained and housebroken. We met Angel and it was love at first sight. How nice of God to make something so cute and lovable for us mere mortals!
It's been a long time since we had to train a puppy but we are all having fun learning together. All the sweat and hard work is worth it when followed by a sweet kiss from Angel.
Lindy, our shepard, will always be in our hearts and memories. And now Angel has come to fit comfortable in our hearts where Lindy has made room for her.

Bio: Angel is one of a litter of 5 pups. Her sister, Taffy, was adopted by one of my friends and we are planning a play date for the sisters to meet again.
Angel is 6 months old and weighs 10 lbs......thanks to being home with an Italian Grandma all day who loves to cook and feed her!

Well I'm a teenager now and so smart and funny. I've learned so much and now I behave a lot better too. Mom is still working but she is down to 3 days now which gives us more time together.
I keep Grandma company on the days when Mom is at work. Grandma is 91 now and needs me to tell her when someone comes to the door. One of my many talents now.
When Mom is home I'm never more than 10 feet away from her. She needs me to make her smile and to remind her when I need a treat for being so good.
I take little trips with Mom and still love being in my car seat. Since we live in Arizona we don't get out too much in the summer because it reaches 1,000 degrees outside. Maybe I exaggerate a little but it sure feels like that. Thank goodness Mom doesn't let me walk on the hot pavement too much.
I've added my latest photo to my site. Hope you like my formal old-fashioned dress!
Hope all my wonderful pet-pals are doing well and being loved as much as I am by their person. Life is so nice when you are loved!

Well I'll be 4 years old next week. Time flies by so quickly when you are a happy puppy. Who's got it better than me? Mom only works 4 days a week now and usually gets home around 4:00 pm every day so I get to spend more time with her. I get to stay with Grandma a few days a week while Mom is at work and now I hear rumors that she may be coming to stay with me! Just think of all the pasta that I will get now and I'll have someone to watch all day until Mom gets home. Life is good!!!
I haven't learned much this past year so I guess that means that I know everything I need to know now. I listen real good to Mom (usually), I eat well (too well sometimes) and I love going places with Mom. My car seat has been getting lots of good use. I've made so many new friends at Dogster. It's nice to know that so many people love their puppies as much as Mom loves me.
Hope everyone has a good year in people years and dog years!

It seems I only get to write in my diary once a year now. I'm such a busy young lady.
I can't belive in my last entry I was only "2" years old! .NOW I will be 3 years old in just 2 more days! I wonder what Mom and Grandma will get me for my birthday presents. I hope it's treats because I sure don't need any more toys. I have 2 big wicker baskets full of all sorts of stuffies and balls. Plus Mom put some of my old toys away in a big bag in the closet (she doesn't think I know about them) :-D
So much has happened since I last wrote in my diary. Mom had her knee surgery and everything went well. It was so nice to have her home for 6 weeks . I got to play with her every day. I got a new friend - her physiotherapist, Jeff. I had to keep a good eye on him because he liked to use my toys as objects for Mom to get around with her cane. I wasn't happy when Mom went back to work but at least she was working part-time for a while.
I got to meet 2 new cousins who are pomeranians. They are cute (but not as cute as me). I really don't like to share Mom's attention with anyone else. We played for a little bit but I didn't invite them back. I know.....I'm selfish....but so what!
Then Mom had to have another surgery. This time on her back because she got a pinched leg nerve blocked by a disc. This time she was only home for 4 weeks but it was fun.
We have a daily routine that Mom comes home from work around 3:00 pm and we rest together on the bed for about an hour. I love this time best because I can just cuddle up to her and she will rub my belly until we both fall asleep. Heaven!
All in all, it's been a good year. I've learned so many new things and I've learned to listen to Mom better. I'm still not too good on a leash but I don't go out of the yard too much. I've got a new look......I keep my ears cut shorter. Now they don't fall into my water bowl and I always look neat and cute.
That's about it for now. A big "woof" to all my Dogster pals.
Love & Licks.......Angel
