Arrival Story:
Got her at a pet store, where we went to one afternoon hoping to MAYBE find a puppy . She was so cute and sweet, we just had to have her. One of the store's employees made it a point to inform us, that she had previously been purchased and returned, because of her kennel cough. She still ocassionally coughs a little, but she is the best puppy ever, and those other people who decided to bring her back sure are missing out! They will never know how sweet, cuddly, fun and affectionate Cider is!
Bio:
Cider is a sheltie/pomeranian mix , so we call her a SHELTERANIAN.
When Cider was 7 months old, she fell off a deck and smashed her hind leg into the stairs. She broke both bones and had to wear a cast for 6 weeks. She had to be immobilized for the entire time, except for pee and stretch breaks. We had to lock her up in a little kennel cage for most of that time, so she wouldn't decide to jump and run around: if the broken bones shifted, she would have had to have an operation to put pins in. Cider was quite miserable for those 6 weeks. Luckily the bones healed perfectly and Cider's leg is back 100% !

Oh my, do I have a holiday present coming! My twin sister, Foxie (http://www.dogster.com/?150804) , is going to move in with us and stay for good! So far we only used to meet for playdates, and there was never enough time to run around in circles together. Unfortunately, Foxie's owner got very sick and will bo spending lots of time in a hospital. We all hope he gets better soon! Since Foxie's family will not be able to take care of her anymore, she is moving in with us on Sunday and from now on we'll always be together! What else could I ask for this Holiday season?
