New Puppy

Emily gone

How is that Mama got up and left with Em but not me! huh! Mama wasnt gone long so that is cool. I went running to the door to play with Em but she wasnt there. I sniffed every where for her. Mama was laughing at me but I wasnt happy. She said not to worry that she would be back tomorrow evening. She had to have surgery and that I will have to be gentle with her when she comes home. Then she gave me a big hug and told me my turn was next month and patted me on the head. Umm...Im not sure I like this! I know Mama has been keeping an eye on this weird nail growing. She called it something. I even had to go see doc about it. He said sometimes they will grow back but she has to call the doc that did it when I was a wee one. So it that the surgery Mama is talking about? Em didnt have a weird nail. But we both have to have the same surgery...hmmm Im gonna have to get with ya all on this one. I need more info!

Foster Pup

Another update today. Mom and I got a new foster pup. I have a pic of me and her on here too. My human sis has named her Emily. She is totally cool. We do nothing but PLAY!!! Woo Hoo
We knocked down Mama's glass table yesterday so I went into my crate so we would settle down. I cant wait until Emily can go outside and to the dog park with me. Mama found out that she doesnt have all of her shots and she doesnt want Emily to get sick. So we stay in the house and in our yard.
Yeah she looks white but when you see her she is yellow and white. Mom says Emily is a mix and then says she is a Boarder Collie/Lab/Husky...not sure how she is all those dogs but ok :-}
When its training time we have to do different stuff. I guess she doesnt know the things I do. Like yesterday they were standing at the door and Mama would tell her to stay and then open up the door, close it and then tell her "Good girl"...huh? I do that all the time. Where's my treat!? Oh well...let's play...woo hoo See ya :-}

Agility

Ok so I know I brag about how great I think my little buddy is but he just amazes me sometimes. I bought an agility starter kit and it came in yesterday. Good thing cause our first agility class was cancelled. I was thinking to start him out with the tunnel cause I knew he would not like going in it very well. Can you say "No problem!" After about 10 mins I was to say "through" and away he would go. So I said ok little smarty pants lets see if you can weave LOL I dont know if he knew the polls were there or not but he did great following my hand in and out of them LOL Hmmm...lets get more challenging for him. I spaced out the weave polls and the tunnel and did it at a run. Guess who did it with no problems!!!! Yes!! Good Boy!! I set of the jump a couple inches off the ground and guess who doesnt know he has back legs ha ha ha ha Ok so I found something that we need to work with LOL The down box was no problem either. We practise down and stay all the time. Ive never trained or done agility so we are just having fun with it until next week when we go to class. Woo Hoo so excited :-}
