My first fight

R.I.P. JACK

Sadly, we had to let Jack go recently. He was very sick and not feeling better and given his age, we and the vet thought it would be the best for him to let him go in peace. This was a very hard decision, and he is missed dearly....RIP Jack...we will love you forever little guy!!!

On the mend

Well, my brother and sister in law took me to the vet today. I do not have any signs of infection, but they gave me an antibiotic shot in the back of my neck and now I have to take antibiotic pills and some sort of antibiotic ointment has to be put on my oww-ee a couple times a day. There was a huskie at the vet's office and it set me on edge...I kept barking a snarling at him, lettin him know who was boss. I feel good today, and am gettin ready to go wrestle with my nephew Chuy and my big bro. Just wanna thank you all for the well wishes :)

My first fight

It's the day before my 10th Birthday and my humans (my brother and sister in law) took me to the dog park with my little nephew Chuy. We got there and right away this big hairy huskie started trying to attack me. His human left but returned with him a little later after more of my friends had arrived. The dog, Nika...she came at me with a vengeance. She ripped a hole in the top of my head above my left eye. My nephew saw me in battle and came to my rescue...He is only 3 months old but he instinctively knew to throw himself between me and Nika. He suffered a small bite to his muzzle...our loving family brought us home, gave us baths, put neosporin on our booboos and now we are gonna go to bed...it's been a long exciting day!!!
