Arrival Story:
Our sister Martha is mentally retarded, and her condition is slowly getting worse. She loves dogs, and has always wanted one that she can love and call her own. Our other dogs are a little too hyper for her. She needs a dog that is calm and laid back, and one that can be trained easily. Jacob is the perfect match for her. Jacob will be trained to be a therapy dog for her.
Bio:
Jacob is a purebred Chihuahua. We got him from a breeder that we know personally- she is the president of the Chihuahua Meet-Up group that we belong to, and she both breeds and rescues Chuhuahuas. Jacob was given to her by a local vet tech to sell, and we fell in love with him the moment we saw him.

I have finally been adopted! Adopted means that I have a family. I have people that love me and take care of me. I have people that will train me, and shower me with hugs, kisses, treats, and toys. Being adopted means that I don't have to go back to that place with all the barking and all the other little dogs like me running around. Being adopted means that I have my own sofa to lay on, and my own bed to sleep in. Being adopeted means that I can talk long, lazy walks with my family and that I will be able to run around in the yard. Being adopted means that I now have other "fur" siblings that live with me, and that I must learn to get along with them, and that they will get to know me. Being adopted means that I will never feel lonely or sad again- I have a wonderful family that will always be there for me. Being adopted means that I will get to go with my family to dog events and to dog meet-ups, and I will get to meet other humans and other dogs. Being adopted means that I will have my own webpage, and that my human mommy will help me fix it up and put new pictures on my page.
Now that I have thought about it, I like being adopted!
