Arrival Story:
Lexis found herself in a crowded shelter in Kentucky when her family was moving into a home that did not allow pets. She waited there for a few weeks until her story and loving face caught the interest of her foster mom. Now she's in foster care in New Jersey with Rogers' Rescues where she's once again in a home, loved and safe until she finds her forever home.

Bio:
Lexis is one SWEET girl! She's been through quite a bit in the past month with losing the only family she's known, being in a shelter, and a long trip North to a new temporary home. Despite all that, she immediately bonded to her foster parents and is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She's great with the resident dogs, fine with cats and ferrets, and is housebroken and crate trained. Her previous family noted that she loves and is great with children. She just wants to be with her people and to have FUN! Lexis loves to play fetch with toys, chew on a Nylabone, and then snooze at your feet (or in the bed if you'll let her). She's never far from her foster mom's side and is just an absolute love. She's a beautiful girl, inside and out.
