Arrival Story:
Murphy was surrendered to Chessie Rescue around Christmas time. At 8 months old he had already lived in two homes and I knew I needed to get this poor boy in a stable environment before he became out of control. Well, Murphyhad already decided that he ruled the roost. Murphy had no manners, knew no basic commands and was very food, treat and toy possessive/aggressive. Murphy also would constantly bark and whine.
Although Murphy had no training when coming to me and no manners at all, he has adapted well so far. He is very loving and readily gives out kisses. He also has learned "sit" and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash and that barking/whinning is not allowed ALL the time. We are also working on his possessive/aggressive tendencies.
As Murphy matures, I'm sure he's going to make a wonderful, wonderful companion.
