My Life:
My Mom and Dad tell everyone that I'm the smartest and greatest dog ever. They say I'm a little human disguised as a dog. But, shhhhh, I'll share a little secret with you... I love food! So anytime Mom has a bag of treats in hand it's all the incentive I need to be a very attentive little Westie. Plus, she gives good belly rubs. We're best friends me and Mom and we love being together. One evening we were watching Animal Planet. Neither one of us knew anything about dog agility but we were fascinated watching all the dogs run the obstacle courses. The dogs racing around, weaving poles, playing on a teeter and jumping thru hoops. Wow! So, she found a place for us to train. After many months of training at Dogwood Dog Training in Houston, TX I began my AKC agility career on January 27, 2007, just two days before Mom's bday. I love being with my Mom and going everywhere she goes. Riding in the car is almost as fun as eating; almost. But that's why I love to trial. We're always together AND I get lots of treats and a special reward at the end of each run. Mom commonly refers to this as a "jackpot". It's always something extra yummy that I don't normally get to eat. Sept 2007 - I've earned my NA, OA, AX, NAJ, OAJ & AXJ titles. May. 2008 - I've earned my MX & MXJ titles. On Oct. 10, 2009, I earned my MACH! April 2010 - I've earned my MACH2, NF & OF titles. AKC Nationals Qualifier for 2010, 2011. AKC Invitationals - 2009, 2010. I will continue to run as long as my lungs allow. I love agility and running and I love to make Mom proud. But I was born with an immune deficiency and by age 7 I've had 6 pneumonia's and the last double pneumonia collapsed my middle left lobe. Running is a little harder for me but nothing a good ole 'jack pot' won't fix. WOOF! Mom and I are going to start obedience training indoors, that way I can stay active, even during the hot summer months. I have a little 1/2 brother, we have the same father. My brother's name is Ian "No-No-No" Mcgregor. He's my best dog friend and he helps me stay healthy and active because we chase each other all the time around the house. I also have my litter mate sister, MacKenzie to play with. Mom brought her back to Houston with us and delivered MacKenzie to her new Mom. We see each other ALL the time. Her Mom is MY Aunt Kitty. My Aunt Kitty is the best Aunt in the whole wide world. And my Dad, he's the best Dad in the whole wide world. I heard him tell my vet he would sell his house if he had to, whatever it took to keep me healthy and happy. Well, that's about it. I hear Mom cookin' up my dinner,,, and I don't want to keep her waiting :) May it rain doggie biscuits at your home! Wilson "T-Bone" Wood

Today we watched the PetSmart commercial with Mom and Dad. Ian and I were on national t.v.! I remember all the treats we got to eat that day. I know even though I am a boy, sometimes you have to "dress" the part. Wearing a pink collar and leash and having a red bow in my hair wasn't all that bad because after we got home, Mom put my camo vest and camo boots on me and then we watched Rambo. It's all good!

Today Mom took Ian and me for a long walk at Lake Palestine. We ran across a huge green field and I found a puddle of mud to roll in along the way. Then we walked along the sandy waters edge (i do not like to swim) so I could rinse off. We had a good day!
