Arrival Story:
Tomi Yuki's first owner became very seriously ill and passed away leaving a friend to find a home for her. I did have the opportunity to talk to the lady before she passed away and she was happy she found a home for her dog. She had named her Precious but I changed it to Tomi Yuki meaning treasured snow.

Bio:
Tomi Yuki is so full of life. At first she was terrified of the cats and Jessie stalked her everywhere the first night. The cats seemed more interested than the dogs for some reason. They even camped out in front of her crate. After a couple of days she settled right in and I would find her napping in the middle of a number of cats. I have to get a photo of that. If I am at my desk she curls up with the cats on top of the desk. She is learning a few tricks now and has adjusted to the household schedule well. The only thing she really doesn't like is being crated at night and some of the worst sounding noises I have ever heard. All were no stop until morning. I have never heard any dog make this strange sound I call yipping but I have no words to describe it. Unbelieveable is a good description! After she broke the bars of 3 heavy duty MidWestern crates I decided to just leave her free at night.
