Arrival Story:
Katy is an Aussie Cattle Dog - Siberian Husky mix who's about 12 months old. Her coat is a gorgeous mahogany shade with white blaze on her throat, and red-white merle paws. She has amber eyes and a docked tail. She was picked up by the dog warden and taken to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter. We saw her, realized she needed medical attention, then she sat on my lap and we fell in love with this little girl.
Bio:
Katy is playful, curious, very affectionate, extremely intelligent, and a quick learner. She's an angel with male dogs but can be a bit of a bully with females. She'd make a great addition to an active family with a yard, as she has lots of energy to burn. But she does love to cuddle on the couch with you. You can usually find her laying belly up, with a big smile and her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Mostly, she just wants to be with you and act as overseer to whatever you happen to be doing. Katy is healthy, UTD, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives against heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
