Wriggles on his back with paws extended front. Gets out of any fence, gate, you name it, he figures it out!!
Arrival Story:
Rokko was running the street in the middle of a storm. Got my neighbors'dogs so excited they got out of their fence. Now 3 dogs running up and down, crossing people's yards and woods and everytime I tried to catch them, they'd disappear. Finally after about 2 hours, I got the across-the-street dogs put up and there was little white dog left running alone and I realized he would be hit by a car or truck in no time. So I called him ."Rokko" is what came to mind. For St Roch. And he came right away, wagging his tail, looking so pleased and affectionate. He's been with us ever since now, we had him vetted and neutered and put him up for adoption but now it seems we just can't let go of him..he's just part of the family!!
Bio:
Rokko's quite a Houdini character. I've had to do quite a bit of construction on the 'small dog run" which the dachshunds and Rokko share during the day. Now it looks quite like Alcatraz!!
