Arrival Story:
Well it started when I confronted my mother and said I wanted a puppy. My older sister had one and I thought it was clearly my turn. So she agreed but nothing big. So i instantly knew what i wanted...A GERMAN SHEPHERD!!! She looked at me like i was crazy and said to big I don't want a monster walking around my house. So a german shepherd was out of the picture. I was looking thru the internet when I saw a picture of a dog it was a Norwegian Elkhound. I just shrugged and moved on. Wasn't really interested at the time. Then my mother's co-worker suggested a Norwegian Elkhound because he had one. I remembered seeing that dog and went back to the website. I found a breeder in Virginia and read more about the breed and fell in love. I begged my parents then it was settled. Neko was to be bought to my house on April 18th. He was only 2 months. So that Saturday morning it was just My mother, my best friend, and me. I was sitting in the backyard with my best friend waiting so impatiently when my mother shouts "there here!" so me and her dash inside out the front door to a truck pulling up. A guy got out then reached into a cardboard box while saying, "I'm looking for a Da'el Clapperton" he then handed me a giant soft cuddly cotton ball into my arms. He was so warm and soft i could have cried. I bought him to the backyard and put his new collar on but it was to big and he was scared so he slipped out and ran straight out the yard. Never feeling an alley under his cushion y paws he yelped and ran back to me. Since being raised on a farm he was scared of steps and wouldn't go inside. I attached the leash to him but he stayed as far away as the leash would let him. If we would get any closer he'd get up and move away. After an hour of watching him he sighed and crawled into my lap and went to sleep.

Theres something going on with my owners...there acting funny. I swear I heard one of them say, " Call the kennel so we can board him for the weekend" Gosh i better get my ears cleaned...they better be lying they always do this. Treat me super special all day then boom drop off at the dumb kennel and drive off to Jersey to see my cousins...there cousins...whatever its not fair!!! That place gots so many dogs in each yard and I love playing with em. The kennel is...not so drastic as i'm saying but its not as wonderful then spending 2 and a half hrs. in the trunk of the car listening to the humming of my owners voices. Oh my dog! There packing clothes and talking about NYC this is terrible. Don't they care about me..ooh treat...yum yum yum yum!...ahh i love my owners...WAIT WAIT WAIT i gotta stay focused. I just have to hide out until the very last moment and then they'll be forced to take me with them...until then my dog friends...Ciao!
