Arrival Story:
Fancy was adopted from the Seattle Animal shelter 4 years ago. My at the time boyfriend and I were getting serious and looking to settle down and a dog was a 'good first step' we thought. We ended up collecting animals, as most animal lovers do, and in total had Fancy, a Calico Classy, and a mix-breed puppy we named Samson.
We eventually broke up and since the pets all technically lived with him, he kept them. A long term custody battle broke out over the next few months. I'm not even kidding, we both were on the verge of getting lawyers to settle it for us. Luckily, for me, he found a new girlfriend who was not too fond of Fancy (she has a lot of... issues...) or Classy (she meows at inopportune moments. Like, when you're asleep)and made him give them back to me!
Since then, we've moved in with a roommate who has an Australian Shepherd (Phinney) and we all live happily ever after!
Bio:
Fancy was most likely a lab research pup :(
She has a tattoo on her stomach of a dog and some random letters and numbers. She's very wary of people at first but is slowly learning that people are mostly not going to hurt her.
She still barks at the mailman though.
